Account & Access
How do I access my Wisedocs account?
First Time Logging In
Once you have been added to the Wisedocs platform, you will receive an email to set up your password. Steps:
Open the email from Wisedocs
Click the password setup link
Create and confirm your password
⚠ The password setup link is only valid for 24 hours.
If the Link Has Expired
If the link expires before your password is set up:
Go to the Wisedocs login page
Click "Forgot password"
Enter your email address
Follow the new email link to set up the password
Logging In
Navigate to your company's dedicated Wisedocs link in your browser
Enter your credentials (Email and Password) and click "Sign In"
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is enabled — enter the verification code sent to your phone and/or registered email
After successful authentication, you'll be redirected to your dashboard
Please note: If your company has migrated from Wisedocs 1.0 to 2.0, your login credentials and process will remain the same - just ensure you’re accessing the platform through your new dedicated Wisedocs link.
If you need your link, please contact a Wisedocs expert within your organization or help@wisedocs.com.
What are the system requirements for Wisedocs?
Wisedocs works in any modern web browser—use the latest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari. There’s no software to install. Make sure you have a stable internet connection for document processing.
What should I do if I forget my password?
On the login page, click Forgot Password? Enter your registered email. You’ll get a reset link within a few minutes—check your spam or junk folder if it doesn’t appear. The link is valid for 24 hours.
Why was I automatically logged out?
For security purposes, users are automatically logged out after 15 minutes of inactivity. If no activity is detected during this time, your session will expire and you will need to log in again to continue using the application.
Logging In with Single Sign-On (SSO)
Wisedocs supports Single Sign-On (SSO), allowing you to log in using your organization's identity provider—such as Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, or Auth0—instead of managing a separate username and password.
How SSO Works
When SSO is enabled for your organization, you'll be redirected to your company's login page during sign-in. Once you authenticate there, you'll be automatically logged into Wisedocs. No separate credentials needed.
Supported Identity Providers
Wisedocs works with any identity provider that supports OAuth 2.0 or OpenID Connect (OIDC), including:
Microsoft Azure AD
Okta
Auth0
Other standard OAuth 2.0/OIDC providers
Note: We don't currently support SAML 2.0.
Login Options
Your organization can choose how SSO works for you:
SSO + Password Login — Use either SSO or your username/password
SSO Only — Login exclusively through SSO (password login disabled)
SSO with Exceptions — SSO by default, with password login available for specific users (e.g., external counsel) on a case-by-case basis
Setting Up SSO
Your Wisedocs contact will work with your IT team to configure SSO. Here's what to expect:
Information Sharing — Your IT team provides your identity provider's configuration details (domain, client ID, URLs, etc.)
Configuration — Our team sets up SSO on the Wisedocs side
Testing — We test the integration with a test account to verify everything works
Go Live — Once testing is successful, SSO is enabled for your organization
This process typically takes a few days.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
"Invalid redirect URL" error | Ask your IT team to verify the redirect URI matches exactly (including any trailing slashes) |
Login fails | Check that your identity provider application is configured as a Web Application |
Missing user information | Confirm your identity provider is sharing email address (and ideally first/last name) with Wisedocs |
Can't find your organization's login | Verify you're using the correct domain when signing in |
